Thanks for playing the 2024 season!
  • Congratulations to BOGEYS for winning the 2024 Championship.

  • Regular season has ended
  • The Bogeys(team 3)defeated the Tin Cups (team 1) 45.5 to 26.5
  • The Waterballs(team 8)defeated the Big Dogs (team 2) 37.5 to 34.5
  • Enjoy the outing on Friday Sep 13th!

  • Cost is $20 to walk, $24 to ride.
  • Like last year, pay at cashier - cash or credit card, tell them AMP league.
  • Return the carts before chatting - the golf course guys want to go home. (me too)
  • If you do not see scorekeeper (Gary), e-mail scorecards to a26717@yahoo.com or give to cashier.
    • No more out of bounds. To simplify the "where do I drop my ball and how many strokes do I take?" questions, we will now play everything as a hazard. Drop your next ball at the point where your ball left the course and take a 1 stroke penalty. On holes 2 and 11, you can use the drop area or drop at the point where your ball entered the hazard.
    • JSF rule now in effect. Seniors aged 65 and older may play from the forward tees.
    • Max score on any hole is double par + 1. EX: for a par 3, max score would be 7.
    • Handicaps for the holes have been updated to match the course changes. Points will be properly calculated by the scoring software.
    • Subs in last 2 weeks and playoff must have established handicaps.
    • Because of the time change and our desire to be flexible we will implement the following for player that show up late.
    • It is up to your opponent if they will let you circle back and play the missed holes at the end of the round.
    • That person playing must be accompanied by an opponent in the foursome.
    • If they do not make up the holes, then they get the max score on those holes they missed.
    • If they miss 3 or more holes it is a forfeit.

Please review the instructions on how to fill out a scorecard on the web FAQs. You DO NOT need to fill out all the points calculations. The scoring software will do that. I do ask for a few scorecard basics.
    • I have to be able to read it. If you write over numbers or scribble around them, make sure it is legible.
    • Add up the gross score. I use this as a checksum to verify that I read the individual hole scores correctly.
    • I need to know who played who and what team they are on. Just putting down Bob, Jim, Bill, and Tom is not enough.
    • At the end of the match, someone from the opposing team should check the card and verify that the above requirements have been met.

Congratulations to our 2024 league champions, the Bogeys.
